ZipMarketData is a small, independently operated service. There is no call centre and no ticket queue that swallows messages — email reaches the person who maintains the data pipeline.
support@zipmarketdata.com — support, billing, data questions, privacy requests and press. We aim to reply within two business days.
Business Details
The Service is operated by ZipMarketData. Email is the fastest route to a person for every kind of enquiry, including formal notices.
What to Include
| If you are writing about… | Include this |
|---|---|
| A wrong or missing figure | The ZIP code or metro, the endpoint, the value you saw, the value you expected, and roughly when you looked |
| An API error | The full request URL (without your key), the HTTP status code, the response body, and the time in UTC |
| Billing | The email address on the account, the date and amount of the charge, and what you would like done |
| Privacy or data deletion | Send it from the email address on the account so we can verify it is you |
| Coverage for a ZIP we do not have | The ZIP code and the metro it sits in — gaps usually mean the source publisher has thin data there |
Data Corrections
Our figures are assembled from Redfin, HUD and the US Census Bureau. If a number looks wrong, it is usually one of three things: the source has revised its series, the ZIP code is sparse enough that a regional estimate was returned (the response carries an is_estimated flag), or the vintage you are looking at is older than you expected — the data_date field tells you which month the reading covers. Send us the detail above and we will trace it. Where the error originates upstream we will say so plainly rather than quietly adjust a number.
Security Disclosure
If you find a vulnerability, email support@zipmarketdata.com with the subject line "Security" and enough detail to reproduce it. Please do not test against other people's accounts, do not run destructive or high-volume tests, and give us a reasonable window to fix the issue before publishing. We do not run a paid bounty programme, but we will credit you if you would like that.
API Customers on RapidAPI
If you subscribed through the RapidAPI marketplace, billing, plan changes and cancellations are handled by RapidAPI support. Data and technical questions are ours — write to us directly and skip the marketplace queue.
Before You Write
Most questions are answered faster by the documentation: the API overview covers authentication, endpoints and rate limits (120 requests/minute burst); the getting started tutorial walks through a first request; and the refund policy explains trials, cancellation and refunds.
